In this session, we – researchers from Mid Sweden University together with the audience – discuss how businesses, public organizations, academia, and the wider community can work together to accelerate AI adoption in Östersund and Jämtland. Through practical examples and forward-looking perspectives, we invite you to explore the next steps in building an innovative and collaborative AI future for the region.

Lena-Maria Öberg: Her areas of research interests include software engineering education, remote work in a software engineering context, co-working spaces, and competence needs in software engineering.
Felix Dobslaw: Felix is the research leader of the cross-disciplinary Software Engineering and Education research group (SEE). They work on the intersection of technology and human use to create and maintain high-quality software. Generative AI plays a large role in the solution space.
